Qualified energy and climate series, ready to integrate into your tools and studies

Reliable energy data, straight into your systems

Studies, calculation tools and dashboards are only as good as the data that feeds them. We supply qualified energy and climate series, through an API or as datasets, with their source and confidence grade.

Our data helps your teams:

  • Feed their tools and models without retyping or reprocessing
  • Work on long series, from 1981 to date depending on the variable
  • Know the source, method and confidence grade of every value
  • Cite a dated, verifiable release in their reports

Our data is served by Kuma Data Core, the engine that also powers the national reference systems we build.

  • Solar irradiance, climate, air quality and photovoltaic variables

  • From a measurement point to a sub-prefecture and a country

  • Every value published with its source and confidence grade

Qualified data, ready to use

Every series is checked, compared with other sources and graded: A for a ground measurement, B for satellite or reanalysis data, C for a value from the literature. Your teams know how reliable each figure is.

You get:

  • Monthly, daily and hourly series depending on the variable
  • Solar series calibrated on ground measurements in Guinea
  • Complete metadata: unit, period, method, licence

Integrate the data into your tools

The Kuma Data Core REST API serves series in JSON and CSV. Full documentation and a request console let your developers connect within hours.

For your technical teams:

  • A free access key, obtained online
  • Ready-to-use examples in curl, Python, JavaScript and R
  • Complete datasets to download, in CSV and Parquet

Stable access, for the life of your projects

Data is released in dated, versioned editions, never overwritten. A result obtained today can be reproduced identically a year from now, as auditors and funders expect.

For intensive use, we offer:

  • Dedicated access with higher quotas
  • Custom extractions, by territory or variable
  • Integration of your own data, qualified with the same method

Free key, documentation and request console. Higher quotas on request.

  • Open datasets

Series released under an open licence and archived with a DOI, in CSV and Parquet.

  • Custom extractions

A selection of variables, sites and periods, delivered in the format of your choice.

  • Qualification of your data

Checks, confidence grading and documentation of your own measurements.

  • Integration support

Support for your developers to connect the API to your tools.

Getting started

  1. 01

    Get a key

The key is issued online, free of charge, from a contact address.

  2. 02

    Explore the data

The console and documentation let you test requests before writing code.

  3. 03

    Integrate

Your teams connect the API to their tools, with our support if needed.

  4. 04

    Scale up

For large volumes or custom data, we define a dedicated access together.

Frequently asked questions

Is API access free?

Yes. A free key gives access to every public route, within a daily quota. Intensive use is covered by dedicated access.

Which countries are covered?

Guinea today, with series calibrated on ground measurements. Other West African countries are added as national reference systems are built.

Under which licence is the data released?

Open datasets are released under CC BY 4.0: they can be reused, including commercially, provided the source is credited.

How do I cite the data in a report?

Every archived dataset has a DOI, and every API response states the release it comes from. Cite the DOI or the release.

Can you integrate our own measurements?

Yes. Your measurements are checked, graded and documented with the same method, then served alongside the other series.
