Workspace of the researchers and engineers of the Guinean solar portal

Community charter

What every member agrees to when joining the Kuma Science Community. It applies to the whole space: forum, working groups, directory and shared resources. The French version prevails in case of divergence.

1. What this space is

The Community is a workspace among peers around Guinean solar data and energy engineering. It is reserved for admitted members and not indexed by search engines. It is neither a commercial channel nor a soapbox: it is a workshop.

2. Rigour

We cite our sources. We prefer a dated, referenced figure to an opinion. We distinguish what we measured, what we read and what we assume. Disagreements are about methods and data, never about people.

3. Respect

Established researchers, students, technicians, independents and the diaspora talk as equals. Beginner questions are welcome; contempt, harassment and personal attacks lead to suspension, without warning in serious cases.

4. Contributions and licence

What you publish in the Community (messages, syntheses, protocols) is placed under the CC-BY 4.0 licence: reusable by all, with attribution. Resources shared as links remain under the licence of their original host. Do not publish what you have no right to distribute.

5. Privacy of the space

The directory and the discussions are members-only. We do not quote a member outside the space without their agreement. Work meant for the public goes through the site's library, after validation by its authors.

6. Your data

Your profile (affiliation, expertise, links) is visible to signed-in members only. You can ask the Kuma Science team at any time to correct or delete your account. Admission and moderation decisions are logged.

7. Moderation

The Kuma Science team and the group facilitators uphold this charter. A breach leads, depending on its seriousness, to a reminder, content removal or suspension. Any decision can be contested by writing to the team.
